Craving Shifts

Good morning everyone! Happy Tuesday!

Let’s talk about yesterday’s eats, and the craving shift that I had later in the evening.

Monday

Yesterday morning I made lot’s o’ juice! I felt so good on Sunday from having juice, that I made more Monday morning (and I’m making more today!)

The photo below shows everything I made. I spent about $12 on all of the Organic produce that you saw in yesterday’s post, and it made nearly 70 oz of juice. That’s SO much cheaper than buying 16 oz at the store or a juice shop for nearly $10.

Breakfast – the baby juice in front, with the Gym to follow. I had so much energy at the Gym from that one juice!

Lunch – came home after the Gym & grocery shopping and had a slice of Ezekiel toasted with olive oil, avocado, red chili pepper flakes, sea-salt & pepper…

+ a Green Smoothie which had 1 banana, water, 2.5 tbsp. raw cacao, a huge handful of Organic baby spinach & 1 scoop Sunwarrior Protein.

Mid-day – a Green Juice from the first photo during my Health Coaching

Dinner was a salad with amazing dressing, brown rice, with veggies cooked in, & an organic veggie patty with half an ago on top. I had my last Green Juice following dinner.

The dressing was so easy to make. My new favorite thing to do is get out a small jar (like a Jelly Jar) and pour different ingredients in, shake them up really good, and voila, dressing!

  • a little bit of Olive Oil
  • a little bit of Apple Cider Vinegar
  • a little bit of Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
  • a little bit of Trader Joes Goddess Dressing

Yum! Sorry that I have to say “a little bit” instead of an exact measurement. I just threw the ingredients in until it tasted right Image may be NSFW.

So let’s talk about this craving shift. If you read yesterday’s post, you know I was expecting to have Fro-Yo at night. Well, I filled up on fruits & veggies all day, and by night, I was over the Fro-Yo. I didn’t have a craving for it anymore.

I think this had to do with feeling so nutritionally satisfied, but it also had to do with the fact that my Sister and I planned to go to a wonderful place for breakfast today. This got me all excited about choosing something awesome off their menu, maybe having a sweet, and definitely ordering a fancy coffee. I was so excited about today’s brunch and how good and luxurious it would be, that I wanted to save my tastebuds for breakfast – the Fro-Yo was no longer that exciting in comparison. At Bachelor night I enjoyed a glass of Zin. Alcohol always makes me crave salty/crunchy chips. So I knocked that craving out with just 4 tortilla chips. Satisfied, happy, and so ready for an awesome brunch this morning with my Sister!

I’m headed downstairs to make a Green Juice, then going to hit the Gym, then head to LA all before the workday starts this afternoon.
